Welcome to the Parents BBFC Films database! This is where you can search for Extended Classification Information for Films. This is specific information explaining why a film received its BBFC classification and what issues you are likely to find in it. The database includes all movies passed ‘U’ ‘PG’ or ‘12A’ on film since Summer 2007 and several older family titles.

For new films ECI should be available from 10 days before release date, and where possible there should be a link to a trailer for you to watch.
We are updating the database all the time but if you can’t find the title you want email us and we will get the information online as soon as possible.
